Cutest wreath Ever and the week of BIRTHDAYS!

Monday July 9th:

Monday, was a very slow and "do absolutely nothing" kind of day. That night when Jake came home we went for a bike ride and than came home and Jake cooked us dinner. Which I will never argue to. (even if it is JUST grilled cheese sandwiches). After we went out for dessert to get an Artic Circle shake!

Tuesday July 10th:

On Tuesday I picked up a shift at work from 6-12, after my sister told me I should meet them at the pool, I didn't have my swimsuit though so I went in clothes...BIG mistake. It was 103 degrees and I was soaked within minutes. So I stayed for 40 minutes and left. After I went shopping for my sisters b-day gift. That day I got a little inspiration and painted my nails after an idea I saw on Pinterest. To end the day we crawled in bed and up came Jake with two otter pops. Yes, we were in bed, and yes it was past 10 pm.

Wednesday, July 11:

I worked on Wednesday also, but that night my hubbie was going to be playing ball till late, and I thought it was a perfect night for crafts or girls night. So I combined them! I invited my cousin Ashlee over to make these ADORABLE wreaths. We had dinner together and started on this craft that lasted till 1:30 am! When she arrived I realized we both were wearing dresses that were black and blue! Love this girl! Always a good time with her!

Thursday July 12:

On the 12th it was my sister's Amy's 29th birthday! She was leaving out of town that night, so as sister's we celebrated her birthday by going out to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen, and shopping afterwards. Very fun! That night Jake's brother in law came into town from Denver. We took our pass of all passes to Trafalga and played some mini golf. The boy in the picture is a kid from our ward who is less active and doesn't have the best home atmosphere. The past week he has been like an adopted son to us.

Friday July 13th:

As I said my sister went out of town so on Friday I watched her kiddo's for the day. Her little girl Gracie was being SO cute and asked me if we could do her make up. So while I got ready I let her play with my make up brushes. Than I started doing my hair, so of course we had to curl her hair. Than she saw my sparkly nail polish, and than we had to paint her nails. I didn't mind one bit! Made me really excited to have little girls! Than of course Cooper was being a good little boy on my bed drinking his bottle! That night was my niece Mia's 2nd birthday! This darling little gal has been the only grandchild that was born by herself without any cousins and it has been such a joy to enjoy her! We gave her a cute little outfit and a baby doll and she loved it!

Saturday, July 14:

This was a great Saturday! I woke up late, than got ready and went to get my nails done with my mother and sister. Than me and the husband met up with my brother in law before he left back to Denver for all you can eat Sushi. I'm already craving it again! Jake and I went home and met up with Nick (our adopted son) and grabbed dinner and a movie!

Sunday, July 15th:

Today was chill, Church, Primary lesson for Sharing time, home, nap. Made Jake's favorite dinner: Chicken poppyseed casserole, Nick also came over for dinner. We than ended the night with my favorite movie, Titanic. Perfect Sunday!

{These are the days}

Sidenote: I just had to post something aside from my weekly adventures.

You know how sometimes you get overwhelming feeling from just music? Or when a piece of music just really inspires you or gives you chills? Or sometimes a song you hear for the first time really speaks to you or makes you cry? Or even a song you have heard a million times over, but you finally listened to the words and it spoke exactly how you were feeling in that exact moment? All these are the main reasons I am so passionate about music. Well tonight I had one of those feelings. Since I bought tickets to the "Sugarland" concert whenever a song of there's comes on my I-pod I listen to the whole song so I am prepared to sing my heart out at their concert. ANYWAYS... one of their songs "These are the days" came on and it wasn't until the last few lines that I realized this is exactly what I needed to hear. So I replayed it over and listened intently to the lyrics and I was like this is perfect!

It's written on our palms and
It's written on our hearts
It's written in our songs and
It's written in the stars
Sometimes all we can do
Is stand up tall
When they're standing in line
Just to watch us fall

Chorus:
Whoa
We can't forget, these are the days
Whoa, don't be afraid
We can't forget, these are the days

Well, we got each other and that's all we need
From here on out it's just you and me
Two hometown hearts up against the world
That don't stand a chance against this boy and girl
We faced 'em down, fought bigger fights
And I know babe we're gonna be alright

repeat chorus

Well, it feels like we're living from pay check to check
And we wake up wondering what might happen next
Yeah, sometimes it feels like we won't make it through
But the hard times pass
Like the good ones do
Baby wrap your fingers and
Hold on tight
I'll be right here beside you tonight
Baby climb up here
Watch the city glow
Let's make a wish on the fireworks below
We're making moments that we won't forget
And feeling ones that haven't happened yet

repeat chorus

Whoa
Don't be afraid
We can't forget these are the days

I just feel like life sometimes hits us with things and some days I'm like why me? or Why now? Like today I just registered for school and realized its going to be a longer and harder journey than I thought and I was so upset. Than with all this fertility crap going on, I'm like okay something else we got to get over. But than I heard this song and I was like YA! These are the days and moments I am going to remember forever. Jake and I living the dream. It makes me feel a lot better!

Beginning of a new month

It's July! So much has been going! I love how busy life is! July has already been great and it's just beginning.

Sunday July 1st:

It was my cute little neice, Gracie's 4th birthday. We celebrated it little mermaid style at her house. We had amazing food and dessert. It was awesome! This little girl is such a joy. She is always so complimentive and sweet. Don't get me wrong she can be a stinker but I love her so much! Don't know what I would do without my "Grace Girl"

Monday July 2nd:

Another day of slaving away, at the old Hospital. But to make my day a little better, I got free movie tickets. We have this incentive program at my work called "High Five". They started the program to encourage us to be better staff members to the patients in the hospital (not that we sucked but just to push us that extra mile). You get prizes if you get tokens or a "High five" note card. Since I have mostly worked as a secretary instead of a PCT its harder to get tokens from patients. But lo and behold I finally got five tokens and I won us some free movie tickets! SCORE!! Also that night it just so happened all of us "Schroeppel Sisters" needed our hair done so we all had a little hair fest and got our hair done! BOOYEAH!

Tuesday July 3rd:

This day was actually very fun for we Frahm's. Since Jake has been at his new job, he has talked about me meeting people, unfortunately his job is all the way in West Valley, and kind of a drive. Well it just so happened I HAD to drive up to Salt Lake to go figure things out with SLCC when we decided to make a date out of it! We met up at his work where he introduced me to everyone, than headed down the street for these amazing sandwiches from a place called "Grinders". It was delish. We than drove around and talked and he showed me the area. I later went to SLCC and got lost on Redwood Road. Finally found my way home. Cooked some dins and decided we have failed this Summer at getting my favorite treat...SNOW CONES. We went out THAT night and found a cute/cheap stand with deliciousness. We were happy kiddo's.

Wednesday July 4th:

This is one of my favorite Holidays, next to Christmas. Sadly, I had to spend it at work. :( But I was not about to let that ruin it! A couple gals and I ordered out some Kneaders Breakfast. And it didn't disappoint. It was a perfect filler for what I was missing! We had our annual BBQ at my sister Jamie's house. Complete with a swimming pool and Volleyball. It was how I love to enjoy the 4th. We of course ended it with fireworks. They were mostly ground fireworks this year. But still fun to have. I loved playing with my neices and nephews and seeing how they watched the fireworks!

Thursday July 5th:

Thursday was VERY rainy. I had every intention of cleaning my house. But when my sister asks if I want to go to Bajio to get there salad on a day when its cheaper than normal, I have to jump at the chance. After we grabbed some Ice Cream at Baskin Robbins. It was fun. That night was Bunco night, which is ALWAYS a highlight of my week! Even if I lose! You can check out our Bunco Blog here.

Friday July 6th:

This was a 7peaks day! A friend from work has days off rarely so we took this opportunity to go swim and layout together. It was PERFECT. We would switch off from the wave pool to the lazy river! Lame, but so relaxing! That night was date night. We decided on Chili's cause of there dessert obviously. After we hit up the movies (with my free tickets obvs). We went and saw Spider man which was SO good. I didn't want to go and I actually like it a lot!  Perfect Friday night with my love!

Saturday July 7th:

On Saturday we had an extremely BUSY day. All day was filled with Baptims. My nephew Easton was baptized at 10 and after that Jake's cousin Ashlee was baptized at 4. We were exhausted by the time we got home! It was so amazing though to feel the spirit like that. I kept thinking of my baptism day, and than about the decision these kids were making, and than about our children some day. So happy I could be part of both these kids' day.

Sunday July 8th:

Today I worked and it was INCREDIBLY SLOW!! Luckily I had my best friend with me. Her name is Kindle. And I love her. She goes with me everywhere and we are in love. I have loved reading lately. I can't put my kindle down. Lately I have been reading...wait for it...yes...50 Shades of Grey. It's actually been a good read. Anyways... first week of July down and accomplished and I would say it was pretty darn good!

End of June

This last week of June, was more about getting errands and things I needed done. But of course I left time for some awesomeness!

Monday June 25th:

On Monday I made plans to go out to lunch with my good friend from Junior high/high school Afton. Afton, her baby, and I all met up at Zupa's for some delicious food. I unfortunately didn't get a picture. It was good to catch up on each other's lives. After I went to pick Bubba up from the boarding place we left him while we went to Park City. He got all groomed and looked so cute. That night Jake and I grilled and had amazing hamburgers.

Tuesday June 26th:

Tuesday, I went to my sisters condo pool for about 3 hours and soaked up the sun with some friends. I than went home and ACTUALLY cleaned my house. Our friends Dave and Amie asked if we wanted to go with them to the Lehi City "Cattle Drive" and to grab dinner. We ate some food than went to go wait for the cattle drive, which we had NO idea what it was or what to expect. Anyways, we were sitting there and heard a marching band, so we thought it was a parade of some sort. Than random people passed by on horses and buggies waving. I was talking to Amie and looked back at the road and all the sudden there was a herd of cattle. They came and went in under 5 seconds and THAT my friends was the "cattle drive". Still don't really understand it but whatev's!

Wednesday June 27th:

Wednesday was a busy day. I cleaned a wee bit more. Had visiting teachers. Went to Wal-mart. Price matched. Bought random shiz. Came home. Unloaded food. Went to a Dr's appt. Came home. Watched a show. Decorated my stairs. Met up with Ashlee. This is my darling dear cousin Ashlee. We are 4 months apart. All growing up we never got along, but neither of us knew why. When we were graduating high school we at least would start talking to each other. Than I got married and 4 months later she got married. We  talked a little bit more. A few months ago we started messaging each other and realized we were alike in SO many ways. Through that we have become really close. It makes me sad we have lost 18+ years of not talking. Anyways...we met up for dinner and had a little girls night. It was quite an adventure. We went to Hobby Lobby, Wal-mart, Carwash, My house, and Wal-mart again! Glad this girl is in my life!! Don't know what I would do without her!

Thursday June 28th:

This day was all spent making freezer jam. I went over to my sister Jamie's with my strawberries and pectin and between her, Kylie, and myself we whipped out 35 jars/containers of Jam. We made strawberry, raspberry, sugar free strawberry, and all of our favorite strawberry blueberry! It is so good! The best part is, it tastes better than store bought and it will last between Jake and I forever!

Friday June 29th:

I worked all day on Friday :( but Jake and me had talked about this idea of ordering this certain meal at Olive Garden so Jake said we should try it out. Unfortunately I didn't leave work until 7:15 when I am supposed to get off at 6:00 so we had to eat a late dinner. But our waiter was AWESOME. We did this meal thing they have thats 2 for $25 so worth it! We got salad, bread, two entrees, and a dessert. Can I just tell you there Zeppoli's are to DIE FOR!! I had never tried them till that night and I was in love! Our waited also made us some awesome Origami, cause he loved us!

Saturday June 30th:

If you can't see that time it says 12:49 am. That is the time I drove away from my sisters house last night. I worked all day and was so tired. So Jake and I went and grabbed some BBQ grub at a place in Saratoga called Sean's Steakhouse. It was pretty good! During that time my sister Jamie text me for a game night with my other sisters. Once I got there we chatted. It was so good for all of us. We got there at 9 and didn't even end up playing games till 11 or 12. It was much needed!

It's extremely sad to me that June is over. I have so much I need to do before summer is over and I feel super overwhelmed. I only have two months to do all the things I need! Ahhh! But June was a great start to 2012 summer!
