It's the Most Wonderful Time... EVER!

Wanna guess what my favorite Holiday is? I will give you a hint . . . it starts with a C and ends in a hristmas! Okay, I will tell you Christmas! Seriously, its epic. I told my husband that if Jehovah's Witness' came to my door I would have to tell them I couldn't convert cause I'm addicted to Christmas.

I am one of those awesome people who listen to music the November 1. I enjoy the snow fall and all things winter. So this year since I have my own home to decorate I took it upon myself to do just that also on November 1. I dragged Jake into Costco and we bought Our first Christmas Tree! Pre-lit and everything. I was in pure Heaven.

It has been so fun decorating the house! I may have spent a little more than I intended but, it will last me years to come! One of the pictures I am so happy about is my Christmas "Wreath" that hangs on my door. I got the idea off of Pinterest and I LOVED IT! I am so happy with the way it turned out! It inspired me to do a lot more crafts. We'll see! Have a Holly Jolly Christmas!

Turkey at The Frahm's

This year, my delightful husband thought it would be fun to volunteer my house, my services, and me to this years Thanksgiving Festivities. Awesome.

So this year I hosted my first Thanksgiving at my house! I also was in charge of the Turkey (uhm, wha??) Creme Corn, Stuffing, and a Banana Creme Pie. I was terrified. I had never cooked a Turkey before. Also, when I brought up the Creme Corn idea . . . not everyone was stoked. No pressure or anything. But to my dismay, Thanksgiving was a HIT!

I cooked two butter ball Turkey's in the crock pot. They came out tender, juicy, flavorful, and amazing (if I do say so myself)! We had PLENTY to go around that Jake and I will officially be having Turkey dinner for a month! Than to add on to that everyone kept asking for seconds on the creamed corn! I was ecstatic. Okay, okay I sound a little cocky right? But seriously I am a pessimist and plan to fail. So to me this was the perfect Thanksgiving. I was so proud of myself. And my father-in law is still talking about that creamed corn! :)

I was having 9 people come over in my town home to eat. I decided I wanted it to be special so I set up a long buffet table and brought out my nice "china" and even made little name tags! It turned out to be the the best Thanksgiving ever!

I ended the lovely night with Black Friday Shopping. I went with my sisters Kylie, and Jamie. It was a riot! We started the night at 8:30 pm at Walmart in Cedar Hills. Than went to Target in AF, than University Mall, than Target in Orem, than back to Target in AF, than to Kohl's in AF, than back to Walmart in Lindon. Needless to say there was A LOT of driving. We had so much fun though, but who wouldn't at 3 in the morning with two of their best friends. We ended our crazy ride at 6:30 am. That makes 10 hrs of shopping! I wouldn't have changed it for the world.

Gobble Gobble

It's that time of year when you whip out the ol' bird and taters and have a feast! It also is that time to remind you of what your thankful for. Since I tend to complain more than be grateful I need this holiday once a year to remind me all the blessings I have!

First and foremost I am definitely grateful for my husband Jakey boy! We have been married almost a year and I couldn't be happier! Really! Sure we have had our Up's, and our down's. Any maybe sometimes are downs are really LOW, but I am so grateful for this man. He really truly makes me happy. He is always willing to make me happy and put me first. He is always the first to come say sorry, and hates fighting. He is trying really hard to make my life, everything I have dreamed of and he sure has. He is truly my best friend and I don't know what life was like before him! I Love Him.
(what a hottie)
I am thankful for my family. I have 2 great parents. 3 sisters. And a little brother. What more could a girl ask for? It might help that my parents are amazing and have helped me get to where I am today. They have pushed me to reach my dreams and are still helping me today! They do so much for me and I could probably never repay them! I am so thankful to have 3 sisters who all live here in Utah County and who all happen to be my best friends. I love these gals! They are there for me no matter what. I don't understand people who aren't best friends with their sisters. Mine are incredible! My little brother is such an amazing kid. Even though he is younger than me he is one of my biggest examples. He has such a sweet personality and testimony. I hope to be like C.J. when I grow up ;)
I am also grateful for my other family. My in-laws the Frahm's. I married into a great little family. I know without a doubt this was the family I was supposed to come to. My in-laws Dave and Wendy, have treated me like a member of the family since I got there. They treat me like gold and are always going out of there way to do whats best for me and Jake. Rebecca and Mike have been so wonderful to have as a sister and brother. All because of this family, I have a wonderful guy!
I am grateful for my home.
I am grateful for my car.
I am grateful for my health.
I am grateful for each day I am alive.
I am grateful for my job.
I am grateful for food.
I am grateful for clothes.
I am grateful for the income we make.
I am grateful for my dog, Bubba! :)
I am grateful for books.
I am grateful for my best friends LC, Naomi, Lisa, Kelly
I am grateful for love.
I am grateful for internet (so I can tell you good folk about my life)
I am grateful for school (even though some days it makes me cry)
I am grateful for my talents.
I am grateful for my personality.

I am grateful for lots and the list can go on and on. But in the end I owe it all to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. As the Christmas Season is approaching, I remember his birth and also what he did for me as an individual. Because of him I am able to be sealed to my family and husband for all eternity. Because of him I can humble myself and realize I'm not perfect but I can keep trying and one day become perfect. Because of him I am able to see Grandma Virginia, Grandpa Leslie, and Baby Carson. I am grateful for this gospel. I know this is the one and true church and I am grateful to have a testimony of it. I love this life.
Happy Thanksgiving!

A Thousand Years

It was epic. I was great. It was Breaking Dawn!

Ah! I loved it! Such a fun night. My sister Kylie, got the opportunity to rent a theater for the new Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. We were in a theater with 94 seats and I was in the perfect row. All my Bunco friends, Mom, and mom's friends went out to eat at Terra Mia. We all ate delicious pizza, salad, or soup.

Than at 6:45 we could go in and sit in our seats!! The anticipation was terrible! So to save us, Kylie and Jamie put together a raffle with some awesome prizes! There was purses, perfume, giftcards, the soundtrack, and so much more. (Yet, I didn't win a dang thing!)

Than the lights dimmed... and it was time! I screamed, laughed, (almost) cried, and about peed my pants the whole time! It was so freaking good! I officially want to see it 8 more times. I would rate it 11 out of 10. I enjoyed it so much.

There was a song on the Soundtrack that my sister pointed out to me that I needed to hear. Well now, I'M OBSESSED!! It's so good! Title: A Thousand Years Artist: Christina Perri

Excuses. Excuses.

Isn't that what makes me feel better though??

Since I started my diet I was rocking it! Never ate treats, never really cheated (except on my one cheat day). I had lost 8 lbs. and just kinda platoed for about a LONG while. Than finally I broke through and lost Uno pound than another. "Down a size and a half! And this time I'll keep it off!" (The Grinch)

But than.... dun dun dun (here it comes, wait for it) my excuse #1. Halloween came to the world and as I stated earlier we had a candy feast and I unfortunately got on my sugar high! I knew it was bad, I knew I shouldn't have done it. But I didn't want to miss out on the traditions of Halloween.

The next day was bad!! I had the worst tummy ache all day, and kept needing to go to the bathroom (if ya know what I mean). The next day was the same thing. I had treated my body bad and it did not like it!

Excuse #2 I kinda have gotten sick of all the things I allow myself to eat. I felt SO bored with the same old same old. But I had seen results and its not like I need to get skinnier or lose more.

Moral of the story is:A) no more excuses
B) Keep sugar intake, low
C) Revamp my meal plan and start anew.

HA (double L) OW (double E) N

This was Jake and mine first Halloween together. It was spectacular.
Unfortunately the first part of the day was spent at school.

I headed over to my in-laws to see all of our cousins in their cute little costumes. We also showed off Bubba as a Hot Dog this year. We all got a kick out of that. We spent a little time over there than headed over to my mom's for the Halloween festivities.

(Majority of the Frahm Family)

We went over to my mom's and started out the evening with trying to take all the kids picture and get them to smile (no easy task). We than headed in to eat like kings! We had White Chicken Chili Soup, Chicken Noodle, Hearty Elk Stew, and Cream of Broccoli. All in cute little pumpkin soup bowls. We had doughnuts, caramel apples, pumpkin bars, pumpkin cookies, and of course candy. It was so good.

Than my mom, sisters, husband, and dog all took on the task of taking the kids trick or treating. It was so cute to see them go to the door. The kids were all dressed so adorable. My favorite outfit was my niece Mia, she is 16 months old and she was dressed as a baby chick. I could not get over it!

It was so fun for us especially since we don't have kids yet. All the kids were dressed so stinking cute! Easton- Grim Reaper. Hunter- Cowboy. Hallie- Witch. Gracie- Rapunzel. Irelyn- Mermaid. Reese- Lobster. Overall fantastic Halloween.
Have no fear, I have ripped down the Halloween and blasted the Christmas music. Today I'm buying a tree and starting to decorate. Can't WAIT for Christmas!
