Changes Are a Happenin'

The last 2 and a half weeks have been a whirlwind in the Frahm household. So much has happened so close together. It may not be BIG deals to anyone else but its exciting and "blog worthy" to me so here we go:

First BIG news...Jake got a new job! Jake worked at New Horizons Computer Learning Center as a Salesman for the past 3 and half years. There were some pro's and definitely some con's. Last December I told Jake I thought we should start looking for another job because some things happened at his current one. We prayed about it and felt the time was right to move on. Jake interviewed for a place called Qualtrics. Well needless to say he didn't get the job. We kinda looked at other options here and there but as we got closer to my due date we decided to wait after the baby was born, for insurance purposes. Fast forward to August. Jake talked with a couple friends who told them to come work with them. We spiffed up his resume and decided to apply again for Qualtrics, and a few other job opportunities. Jake got a phone interview, then an in person interview, then they offered him the job. We are so excited and accepted the job. It has been well thought over and prayed about. We are kinda taking a leap of faith with this job by taking a pay cut, but we know that its going to take us even further then his other job ever could of. Jake is such a hard worker and such a great provider for our family, that I have no doubt he will do amazing!

News number 2:

Well I did the thing I said I would NEVER do. You know the thing that you say "When I'm a mom I will never...." I bought a mother freaking Mini-Van. When we went to Cali, we rented a mini van and it was amazing. So convenient! So I told Jake I would consider now buying one.Well long story short his friend Stephanie works at the Toyota Dealership. So she told us to come in. I had no plans of buying one, but then we test drove a brand new Toyota Sienna. And I was sold. CRAP! Two days later we walked out with a 2015 Toyota Sienna. I have officially had it now for 5 days and I can officially say I like it A LOT. I can't fully say I love it. I LOVE LOVE the inside, its an upgrade from my car, it drives like a dream, I even like the color. But if I look at it from the outside I definitely see that its a mini van and it makes me a little sad. But I am getting over it and really love it. Like I said on Instagram its Convenient, Cheap, and Pretty like a hooker so I'm happy!

Happenin' 3:

Now this may not be a big deal to some of you, and you may not understand. But I still am a Presenter for the makeup company Younique and I'm actually doing really well. I am a little shocked but not at the same time because I have worked my butt off. But the very last day of September I promoted to Pink. So to explain there are levels of promoting and there are 8 levels. Well after a year of being at level 2 I finally promoted to level 3 aka "Pink" and I am only going up. I am really proud of myself, and I cannot explain how much I love working for Younique and how many incredible women I work with. I love what I do and am excited to see where it takes me!

Capistrano Beach, California

At the beginning of September, Jake's parents basically surprised us and said they would buy our flights to California if we would go with them. So how can you say no? We found a really cheap flight for our little family and the plan was officially made!

Oct. 2, 2015 Day 1:

If these pics look like we were traveling the whole time that's cause WE WERE! Our flight was at 8:45 but my in laws wasn't until 12:30. So we literally got up at 6 flew to LAX waited around for my in laws, headed to the hotel. Grabbed dinner, and went to bed.  It sucked but could of  been worse.

Highs:
Authentic Mexican Food for dinner
Having a hotel across the street from the beach
Renting a Mini Van that converted me (more on that later)

Lows:
Traveling
Waiting at airport forever
At said Mexican restaurant only got a small drink of
Diet Coke in the can :(

Day 2:

We spent most of our day at San Clemente Beach, which was an absolute blast. Everyone got in the water including Boston AND I. (I have a weird thing about being wet and water). We both enjoyed it. Finished off our day at a Restaurant called Bubba Kahuna's... DIVINE Pizza, and one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever had.

Highs:
Perfect day at the beach
Dinner at Bubba Kahuna's
Unlimited Diet Coke
Boston's first beach experience

Lows:
Sand in every crevice
Postpartum body in a bathing suit
Missing the chance to watch Conference all weekend

Day 3:

We weren't going to go to the beach again but a local ended up telling us about this amazing Private beach. We ended up going and I am so glad we did it was incredible. Ashton later that day set up a "store" for us to buy things from. And we ended the night with some B.S. card game.

Highs:
Woods Cove Beach
Got in one conference talk
Watching the Fault in our Stars

Lows:
Jake ruining the Jalapeno poppers
Losing BS on accident
My pasty skin ALWAYS getting burnt

Day 4:

Our trip was short. This day we flew home and traveled most the day. But we spent the morning at the hotel, while Boston slept I stayed behind and everyone else went to the pool. It was a fab weekend and perfect for some R&R

Highs:
Flight attendant giving us 8 pkgs. of biscoff cookies
Amazing Burrito from the Airport
Coming home

Lows:
Arriving too early to the airport and alas MORE waiting around
Boston was so tired on the plane
Coming home

Boston at 4 Months

4 Months
13 lbs. 4 oz. 25 Inches

LOVES: Sleeping in his crib. If we are out and about and he falls asleep he doesn't sleep nearly as good as he does in his crib. He recently found his piggy toes and loves to put them in his mouth. He loves when we blow on his belly and give him "raspberries".

HATES: Being put down haha, being left alone in the room, binkies I keep trying to give him one but he refuses and gags.

FAVORITES: He holds his hands CONSTANTLY. Its adorable. I always say he is praying. I found out how to blow bubbles with his mouth and is all about it. I'm still his favorite person though.

MILESTONES: He can officially hold his head up when we hold him and is getting better at lifting it during tummy time. He now sits in the Bumbo like a big boy. Now instead of just tickling him, he laughs when we laugh. Laughs when we make faces, laughs when we do peek a boo, or achoo!

CLOTHES: The day he turned 4 months we put him in some 3-6 which are a little big, but the 0-3 are just a tiny bit too tight. Small little guy

DIAPERS: Size 1 but we are almost to size 2

MOMMY LOVES: His giggle. Its the sweetest sound. How he is "everyone's" baby right now in the family. He is such a good baby!

ALIASES: Biggity, Boogie, Bos, and Brother are his most common nicknames.

RANDOM: The Dr gave us the go ahead on Rice Cereal and we tried it for the first time a week later and he really liked it. He did really good with it, but then got lazy and just wanted a bottle. He also took his first airplane ride last week to California.
